Week 3 EOC. Most Charitable Companies.

According to the chronicle of Philanthropy, Wells Fargo & Company is ranked # 1 when it comes to charitable donations. The company donated a whopping $ 315,845,766 (cash) share of 2011 pre-tax profits donated in 2012. Forecast for 2013: Expects to give less. Wal-Mart, ranked #2 on the list of most charitable companies is also very generous, donating $ 311,607,280 (cash) /$ 755,868,381(products) share of 2011 pre-tax profits donated in 2012. 4.5% Forecast for 2013: Expected to give more. With the third ranking on the chronicles list of most charitable companies, The Chevron Corporation donated a generous amount of $ 262,430,000 (cash) share of  2011 pre-tax profits donated in 2012: 0.6% Forecast for 2013: Expects to give more. All of these companie's are very charitable indeed, But I wonder where all of that money go's, This article doe's not make mention of the charitie's to whom they donate so much money. it also doe's not mention how to access said funds, I see so many homeless and hungry people everyday and i've also been in that same situation where I did'nt know where my next meal would come from or where i would lay my head for the night. With so much giving in the world, It almost seems insane that there are still people on this planet, Men, women, and children and even entire familie's who go hungry every day and night. Is it really charity if the down trodden doesn't have access to these funds? I always thought charity was for the helpless and homeless, but I guesse thats what the wel-fare office is here for.
